Hiatus

As you can tell, I haven’t posted in a very very long while. Mostly because I’ve been so busy. School has started and the teachers are piling homework like there’s no tomorrow. I’ve done some stuff though… For one, I’ve managed to push out two PGZine Mini issues. The first one was written by me and the second by my good friend Mitchell Dyer. The third should be coming soon; I’m not sure when though.

My Killzone: Liberation demo came in today too. It’s pretty good. The controls take a while to get used to though. It’s difficult to do precision aiming with the analog disc. There’s a lot of cool weapons like the crossbow with exploding arrows. I couldn’t find a rocket launcher sadly… Although I did get shot at by a rocket launcher wielding Helghast. I can’t wait for the game to come out.

Backend Coding

So what have I been up to? I’ve been doing some backend coding for Perooz.com. More specifically, a WordPress extension that will help manage all content that is posted and make the entire process as smooth as possible. Cool, I know. Too bad very few people will ever get to see it. :)

Italy beats France in the 2006 FIFA World Cup after two 15 minute overtimes during the penalty kick shootout. Good job Italy. :)

My whereabouts…

Yes, I’m still alive. Just have been busy doing other stuff. I’ve been learning PHP/MySQL for the past couple weeks. Its really not that hard, its designing the application that’s the tough part. Luckily, I think I’ve found the perfect book to solve that. If all goes well, I might custom code a blog and get it hosted somewhere. After all, no point in learning PHP without a server to show off your l33t skillz is there? :)

I’ve also been doing some stuff for Perooz.com lately. Making PSP formatted magazines specifically. Since I make them for myself anyways, I figured I would let others read them as well. Each magazine takes about 10-20 minutes to make, depending on how long the article is and how many times I screw up. I’ve messed up twice so far which isn’t good in my book. I have a high quality standard for all my work. Luckily, the last two I created were flawless (I think) so it looks like I’m getting the hang of it.

That’s it for me. I’m taking a trip next week so don’t expect any new posts. Oh, and I plan on creating a custom header for this blog when I get back…
